January and February 2008 pipe producing companies from Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Mill Group shipped 256.8 thousand tons of products to their customers

Within two months of this year Chelyabinsk tube-rolling mill and Pervouralskiy Novotrubniy mill included in Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Mill Group shipped 256.8 thousand tons of tube products to their customers, which is 14 per cent less in comparison with 2007 results (298.1 thousand tons).

In January and February 2008 Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Mill open joint stock company sold 134.5 thousand tons of tubes. The decrease year-on-year with 2007 (163.5 thousand tons) was 18 per cent. Including shipment of 70.8 thousand tons of large diameter tubes, which is 27 per cent less than in the same period last year (96.8 thousand tons).

In February 2008 Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Mill shipped 76.3 thousand tons of tube products, which is 7 per cent less than 81.8 thousand tons of tubes in February 2008. Including shipment of 36.7 thousand tons of large diameter tubes, which is 19 per cent less than in the same period last year (45.2 thousand tons).

February this year Pervouralskiy Novotrubniy mill sold 72.6 thousand tons of products, which is 7 per cent more than in February 2007 (68 thousand tons. From the beginning of 2008 shipping by Pervouralskiy Novotrubniy mill equaled to 122.3 thousand tons. The decrease is 9 per cent in comparison with the same period last year (134.6 thousand tons).
